Registered Nurse Rapid Response

Job Summary

Supports department by facilitating the delivery of professional, specialized nursing care related to Rapid Response Team for the well-being and comfort of patients; utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide care, documentation and teaching related to acute needs; and by implementing medically prescribed interventions related to acute care needs in defined population.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Associate's degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelor or Masters in Nursing
• Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS National Nursing Certification in area of specialty
• Preferred License/Certifications: Certificate: PALS
• Required Experience: Five years as RN
• PREFERRED Experience: Three years Critical Care or Emergency Department experience, with Preceptor experience preferred
