Responsibilities
Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within the Department of Imaging Services, consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Department of Imaging Services and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum one year of specialized experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Qualifications
- Procedural experience preferred
Skills
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS competencies
- Strong manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity
- Ability to handle very heavy exertion (up to 50 lbs. force)
- Tolerance for exposure to dirt, odor, noise, and human waste
Pay
Hourly rate: $48.49 – $73.58
