Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Full-Time Radiation Oncology Nurse to join their dynamic and growing team. This is a Full-time Days position in their outpatient clinic. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in oncology nursing, with a passion for oncology care. A background in radiation, surgical, and procedural nursing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide, coordinate, and support evidence-based direct patient care across the continuum of care.
- Work closely with physicians to ensure the highest quality of patient care and appropriate resource utilization, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist with clinic procedures such as scopes and brachytherapy cases.
- Maintain excellent communication and writing skills.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required.
- Driver's License required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in oncology nursing.
- Prior experience in radiation, surgical, and procedural nursing is preferred.
