Registered Nurse - Public Health
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) Public Health within the Public Health Department.
Public health nursing combines clinical care with community partnership to improve the health of individuals, families, and communities through disease prevention, health promotion, and emergency response.
You'll provide services in homes, schools, clinics, and other community settings.
You'll assess needs, connect people with resources, respond to communicable diseases and other public health concerns, provide health education, and work alongside community partners to improve health outcomes across Chippewa County.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years of full-time nursing experience -OR- the equivalent of four (4) years part-time nursing
- Experience Required
- Knowledge Of And Experience Applying Community And public health principles
- Recent work experience in environmental and/or public health nursing preferred
- Valid Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred
- A valid driver's license is required
