Registered Nurse PT Nights Floats NEW RATES
New hires for the Staff Nurse Night shift position are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with the first half paid at 6 months and the second half at one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care based on ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
- Participates in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of patients.
- Coordinates psychiatric and/or medical emergencies to ensure proper care for individuals in crisis and safety for all other patients.
- Acts as an active team member by assisting other staff and accepting additional assignments to complete essential patient care and unit responsibilities.
- Administers medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
- Assumes the role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- B.S.N preferred.
- Current RI nursing license.
