Education
- Completion of a Diploma Nursing Program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (AA) or higher
Experience
- Minimum of one year hospital experience, preferred with Psych experience
Other Requirements
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required
- Physically able to place patient in therapeutic hold/apply mechanical restraints to potentially combative/acting out individuals
- Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position requirements
- Effectively communicates with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently, prioritize concurrent projects, meet deadlines, follow through with deliverables, and produce quality work
- Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff
