Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and professional accountability for assigned patients. They evaluate care quality, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission, values, and standards. Key Responsibilities Assess and reassess patients every 2 to 4 hours, addressing diverse medical needs across multiple systems.Coordinate patient care with team members and other departments.Ensure compliance with certification requirements such as ACLS, NIHSS, and other unit-specific credentials.Maintain documentation and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills Graduated from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.Experience preferred; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or others may be required based on the unit.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical activities.
