The Registered Nurse (RN) in Progressive Care delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers to coordinate pre-operative and post-operative nursing services.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts
- Perform procedures as ordered
- Document care thoroughly
- Administer medications
- Monitor responses
- Ensure patient safety through ongoing assessment
- Execute medical procedures
- Maintain accurate records
- Stay informed about cardiac and medical-surgical care practices
Qualifications
- Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months
- Hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Be a registered nurse with a diploma
- Possess RN licensure
