About the Role

The position involves providing expert, patient-centered care in a Progressive Care Unit, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure clinical excellence and holistic patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex medical orders accurately and partner with physicians to deliver high-quality care.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the interdisciplinary team to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Advocate for patients by monitoring health trends and documenting progress for timely interventions.
• Lead discharge planning and transition processes, educating patients and families for successful recovery at home.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state license recognized under the Compact State.
• Certifications in BLS within 1 month and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire, accepted from AHA or ARC.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
