Registered Nurse - PRN Tier 2

About the role

A registered nurse providing professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and team building.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others about care and health management.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Take responsibility for performance, professional growth, and development.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality patient care throughout treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school
• Current BLS certification
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility
• At least one year of L&D RN experience
