About the role
This is a per diem, as-needed position for a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and plan care within set timeframes, documenting findings according to policies.
- Demonstrate leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc.
- Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team.
- Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
