Registered Nurse - PRN - Operating Room

About the role

Provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of OR experience

Skills

• Strong leadership, clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of nursing practices, patient safety, and healthcare regulations
