Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures. They will perform the primary function of a professional nurse in assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients. Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide clinical employees that are under their supervision.
• Might be occasions when it will be necessary for some remote travel.
• Demonstrates service excellence in accordance with UVVC standards at all times.

• Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Cath Lab/IR Lab ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU).
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Conscious Sedation experience preferred.
• Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state to which you are applying.
