Registered Nurse, PRN

Premier ER & Urgent Care is a division of Intuitive Health, a company founded in 2008 that specializes in providing integrated emergency room and urgent care services. Intuitive Health works with leading health systems to build and operate retail healthcare facilities that offer a seamless combination of urgent care and emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels and available resources.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain a positive attitude and foster good interpersonal relationships.
• Ensure delegated tasks are completed accurately and within scope.
• Adhere to established laboratory procedures and safety guidelines.
• Process specimens according to written procedures, report results, and file paperwork.
• Provide basic respiratory services, including capnography, pulse oximetry, and nebulized treatments.
• Show decision-making skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Participate in developing departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in disseminating information to other team members.
• Participate in staff assessments and evaluations.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote ongoing staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas (or compact license).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• At least 2 years’ experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
