Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards. Unit: The Level III NICU is a 24/7 multidisciplinary unit offering advanced neonatal care for infants as early as 26 weeks gestation, supporting family-centered care with private suites. Responsibilities: Deliver specialized neonatal treatments such as therapeutic hypothermia, high-frequency ventilation, and iNO. Evaluate and coordinate patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.Experienced NICU RN preferred.Certifications: BLS required; NRP and other certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC) may be required based on unit needs. Skills & Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing and walking.Capable of gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to perform duties.
