About the role

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. The Recovery Village Kansas City (KCR) is an addiction treatment center with a continuum of care for anyone struggling with substance use disorders, offering a holistic treatment approach and treatment for co‑occurring conditions. The 80‑bed physician‑led facility in Raytown, Missouri provides medical detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete appropriate documents within the required timeframe after admission.
• Maintain medical records.
• Administer medications as indicated and monitor the detoxification process.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement all medical protocols as ordered.
• Confer with and assist medical personnel, both internal and external resources.
• Provide documentation reflecting services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards.
• Assess medical and psychiatric needs of the patient, determine urgency, and expedite treatment when required.
• Effectively communicate concerns about patient health to appropriate personnel and follow up as necessary.
• Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions.
• Take verbal orders from the medical provider, document them accurately, and carry them out professionally.
• Provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred; behavioral health experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of licensure, active and in good standing.

Pay

Starting rate $40/hr, based on experience, with a shift differential of $3/hr.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts; PRN Days (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) and PRN Nights (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) available.
