Registered Nurse Primary Care - Webster, NY

About the role

Located in Webster, NY, Webster Family Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to fill a single- incumbent role. This position offers a convenient day shift schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Document patient care
• Administer medications
• Perform minor laboratory testing
• Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and vendors within the scope of practice as defined by the New York State Nurse Practice Act
• Make decisions regarding the urgency of patient needs and triage emergent care situations to the appropriate care provider
• Collaborate with residents, physicians, and social workers in clinical decision making
• Follow up on patient care needs

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Three to five years’ experience in direct nursing care
• Experience with patients of all ages preferred
• Ambulatory care and telephone triage experience preferred
• Computer literacy essential
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Qualifications

• NYS Licensed RN
• CPR (AHA)

• Effective interpersonal communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with others

Pay

Pay Range: $37.13 - 48.28 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
