Registered Nurse - Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Practice professional nursing by performing independent and delegated medical functions aligned with accepted standards.
• Initiate and deliver nursing care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive or restorative care.
• Build strong relationships with patients, actively assess their needs, and respond promptly to ensure quality care.
• Evaluate health data, prioritize patient needs, and triage in person or via phone.
• Manage emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
• Execute delegated medical tasks, such as medication administration and therapy.
• Coordinate care across healthcare services.
• Advocate for patients, provide health education, and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and infection control standards.
• Monitor patient plans, facilitate communication among care providers, and refer patients to appropriate resources as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Graduate of an approved RN program with clinical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Nurse License (Colorado).
• Basic Life Support certification within three months of hire.
