Registered Nurse-Primary Care-Ambulatory

Join Indiana University Health's Morgan Primary Care Clinic, a collaborative outpatient practice focused on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care through preventive services, chronic disease management, and coordinated treatment plans. In this 32-hour-per-week onsite role, you will collaborate with the brightest minds in medicine, develop clinical expertise, and advance healthcare for all while enjoying a predictable ambulatory care schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support nurse visits
• Assist with in-office procedures and treatments
• Enter provider-directed orders
• Deliver patient education and follow-up care
• Manage nurse visit schedules
• Complete prior authorizations
• Monitor high-priority provider inbox messages to ensure timely patient care
• Assess patients with or without face-to-face interaction as required

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions considered for candidates with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to CNO approval)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
• Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse
