Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. This position will do some intra-operative duties, as well. The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Required Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- 1+ years of Registered Nurse experience in a clinical setting. Peri-operative experience preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
- Current BLS & ACLS accredited by AHA
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff
- Full range of physical mobility (position requires sustained sitting, standing, stooping, lifting as much as 50 lbs., carrying, repetitive motions, reading, answering phones, etc.)
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to problem solve with minimal direction or guidance
- Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
