About the role
The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. This role delivers safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care in PreOp, PACU, and pain management settings
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe and effective care
- Support perioperative services for diverse patient populations
- Adhere to organizational policies and medical plans of care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state
- 1-3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
