About the role

The RN CARS CARES position at Banner Wyoming Medical Center focuses on preparing and recovering patients who have undergone various cardiac and related procedures. This role includes managing sheaths and performing manual holds, administering sedation, and coordinating care for patients undergoing interventional procedures and medical imaging.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and recovers patients who have had invasive cardiac procedures, structural procedures, EP procedures, IR procedures, and medical imaging procedures.
• Administers sedation and manages patients during TEE, DCCV, and STEMI cases.
• Floors to Outpatient Unit and Main OR Preop/PACU as needed.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• One year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.

Skills

Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, sedation techniques, and emergency care is essential. Proficiency in communication and teamwork is also critical.
