About the Role
As a Pre Admission Testing Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and provide preoperative testing and education, including gathering health histories, medication lists, and appropriate orders. You will ensure nursing care aligns with hospital policies, state laws, and standards such as ANA and ASPAN. Your role will influence patient care and nursing practices through collaborative relationships and participation in hospital initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preoperative assessments
- Educate patients on surgical readiness
- Coordinate testing to ensure safety and quality care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical settings (preferred)
