Role Overview
Provides nursing care in a post‑cardiac surgery setting, coordinating patient care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and executing physician and nursing orders. Assesses discharge needs and collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient status effectively.
- Serve as a primary coordinator among disciplines for seamless care delivery.
- Assess discharge planning requirements and coordinate with team members.

Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi‑state license recognized under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
