About the role
Pali Momi Medical Center is a 118-bed facility with over 400 physicians on its medical staff. Located in Central and West O'ahu, it offers a wide range of services including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, minimally invasive surgical suite, women’s center, and advanced imaging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care.
- Function as an associate to a charge nurse and assume charge nurse responsibilities with time.
- Provide professional and compassionate nursing services in the operating room.
- Coordinate nursing services to restore patient health before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Operating Room.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Two (2) years recent Registered Nurse experience in the Operating Room.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Three (3) to five (5) years in Operating Room scrub and circulating experience.
- Current American Heart Association Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
