Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel - (OR RN)

About the role

Performs a variety of tasks related to the care and treatment of patients in an operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient conditions using electronic health records (EPIC)
• Works closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures
• Prepares operating rooms and equipment for surgeries
• Monitors patient vital signs during and after surgeries
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulations

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license (compact accepted)
• National certification as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Two years of acute care hospital experience or national certification as an OR RN

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification from AHA

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in electronic health records (EPIC)

Pay

$2427.00 - $2552.00 per shift

Schedule

Available shifts are 10 days per month.
