About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides personalized, compassionate patient care across various clinical units within a specialty area, including Critical Care, Women’s and Children’s, and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support peaceful death.
- Establish authentic relationships with patients and support systems, utilizing evidence-based practices and compassionate communication.
- Demonstrate accountability and adherence to policies while ensuring a safe, high-quality patient environment.
- Participate in rotations across different units to identify team dynamics and leadership styles, ultimately securing a permanent position in a preferred unit and location.
- Lead healthcare teams, foster teamwork and community involvement, and uphold safety and quality standards with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, research, and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid North Carolina or Multi-State/Compact nursing license required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
