Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Medical Observation Unit

Position: Registered Nurse in the Medical Observation Unit. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in person, via phone, and in writing.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet learning needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program (required).Current nursing license in Illinois (required).CPR certification from the American Heart Association (required).
