Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Position: Per Diem Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator Location: Evanston, IL Role Overview: The HOA serves as the highest‑level clinical and operational leader during assigned shifts, overseeing hospital‑wide clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response. They exercise independent judgment, interpret policies, direct clinical activities, resolve complex issues, allocate resources, and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The role involves real‑time decision-making, supporting frontline staff, coordinating interdepartmental activities, and maintaining situational awareness of capacity, acuity, and resource needs. Qualifications & Skills: BSN required; master’s preferred. Must hold an unrestricted Illinois RN license, CPR, and ACLS certifications. Minimum of three years nursing experience with at least two in leadership roles, preferably in critical care or high-acuity settings. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills are essential. Key Duties: Manage clinical operations, ensure safety, support staff, and make real-time decisions to maintain high standards of patient care during assigned shifts.
