Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care adhering to state laws and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates as part of a healthcare team. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree is held.Current Illinois RN licensure.CPR certification through American Heart Association.ACLS certification within six months of employment.Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months.Preferred: 2 years of Mother Baby RN experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care tailored to patient needs, monitor and record patient progress, and recognize clinical changes.Delegate appropriate care tasks and work collaboratively to meet unit goals.
