Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Interpret cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic records
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Educate patients and families
- Adapt to various hospital units
- Deliver patient assessments
- Administer medications
- Collaborate interdisciplinarily
- Maintain documentation
- Provide patient education
- Adhere to safety protocols in diverse hospital environments
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required per facility
