About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings, including assessing, monitoring, documenting patient conditions, managing cardiac rhythms, administering medications, collaborating with care teams, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patient status
- Administering treatments and medications
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Following infection control and safety protocols
- Adapting to various hospital units and environments
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN License
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
