Position Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will:
- Deliver skilled, individualized nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and interventions
- Manage specialized equipment, including G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate and support families regarding care plans and treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a home care setting
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned cases within NYC
