Registered Nurse - Pediatric Mental Health & PHP - 156577
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Full Time RN to join our Children's Day Treatment Center team. The Children's Day Treatment Center serves adolescents and their families seeking a high level of mental health care while allowing them to return home in the evening. This program provides an environment where youth feel valued and cared for, and where they can develop lifelong skills.
About the role
The RN will provide nursing support to both outpatient pediatric psychiatry and the partial hospitalization program as part of a nurse team. The nurse must be comfortable providing care to patients suffering from anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Rooming and vitals
- Phone calls
- Medication refills
- Rounding in PHP clinic
- Referral triage
- In-basket management
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, variable day clinic hours between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekends
- No call required
Requirements
- Nursing Degree
- 1 year of experience
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatrics experience
- Familiarity with mental and behavioral health settings
