Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care, Full Time Nights, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care to pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process
• Supervision of care provided by supportive personnel
• Cordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care
• Education of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for providing care for critical patients that require a higher acuity of care
• Uphold the hospital mission statement
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred, 1-2 years Telemetry Experience, Hospital Experience
• Education & Credential Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred, Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred, Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred, Licensed Registered Nurse Required

This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
