Responsibilities
- Execute Emergency Care: Deliver rapid, evidence-based ED nursing care and critical interventions for adult and pediatric populations in strict compliance with clinical protocols.
- Manage Care Plans & Documentation: Implement tailored emergency care plans, continuously monitoring and documenting acute status changes in fast-paced environments.
- Lead Multidisciplinary Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison across trauma, pediatric, and specialized clinical teams to ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient care.
- Streamline Continuum of Care: Assess acute discharge or transfer needs, coordinating with healthcare teams to facilitate safe, efficient patient transitions.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
