This position involves providing high-quality inpatient pediatric nursing care in a pediatric float unit. The role requires acting as a liaison across medical disciplines to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs
- Implementing individualized care plans
- Executing clinical orders
- Documenting patient status
- Delivering adaptable clinical care
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Coordinating interdisciplinary efforts
- Maintaining accurate documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of inpatient pediatric experience
- Valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Qualifications
- BSN degree (preferred)
- ACLS certification (preferred, to be obtained within 6 months)
- NRP certification (preferred, to be obtained within 6 months)
- Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)
