Registered Nurse (Pediatric)

About the role

Care Options for Kids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide focused, one-on-one care in the home for pediatric patients with high acuity needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeds, daily and nighttime routines
• Accompany the patient on outings
• Care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs
• Build consistent relationships with both the child and their family

Requirements

• Current, active Florida RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)

Qualifications

• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
