About the Role
Provides comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members, involving patients in their care and education, ensuring adherence to protocols and documenting responses accurately. Utilizes evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs, makes informed decisions, and escalates issues when necessary. Administers medications and treatments safely, maintains a secure environment, and performs various duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with healthcare team and communicate patient status effectively
- Document care and patient responses accurately
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe environment and adhere to hospital policies
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the relevant state or compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including mobility and sensory requirements
