About the role
We are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a 24/7 fast-paced environment, handling a wide range of emergency medical conditions from pediatrics to seniors.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments on diverse patient populations.
- Utilizing triage processes for timely and appropriate patient care.
- Monitoring and interpreting hemodynamic status and managing pain effectively.
- Communicating changes in patient condition with physicians and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current NV RN License.
- 2-3 years of experience in emergency or critical care settings, or extensive EMS background.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months of hire).
Skills
- Strong assessment, communication, and quick decision-making skills.
