About the role
Hospitals on Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - PACU Supervisor in the Lanham, MD area.
Responsibilities
- Supervise post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nurses
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care quality
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Maryland RN license
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Assistant Nurse Manager, CNO, Cardiac Monitoring, Charge, Circulate, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Director, Manager, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Supervisor, Transplant, VP, or Wound & drain care
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to nursing
