Registered Nurse - PACU
Position Overview
Sign-On Bonus: This unit is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.
About the Role
PACU is a very fast-paced and collaborative environment working with a wide variety of patients. The successful candidate will be part of a team managing patients' pain and seeing them improve rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess, document, and manage patients' pain levels and recovery progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform routine monitoring and documentation of patient vital signs and medications.
- Participate in ongoing education and skill development to maintain competency in clinical practice.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred.
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay
$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Part Time, 24 hour Night Rotation Schedule: 8 hour shifts; weekends and holidays are on call.
