Registered Nurse - PACU

Per diem PACU Registered Nurse responsible for providing high-quality post-anesthesia care for surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients emerging from anesthesia
• Manage airways, pain, and hemodynamic status
• Administer IV medications and respond promptly to patient condition changes
• Document accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care
• Ensure safe handoffs to inpatient units or discharge

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure with appropriate certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Comfort with advanced technology and evidence-based practices
