Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery

About the Role

This position involves providing direct perioperative patient care in settings such as PACU and Operating Room, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to core curriculum standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and clinical proficiency, including mentoring new staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care, prioritize patient wellness, and contribute to safety and quality.
• Support a multidisciplinary team and maintain compliance with AORN and ABPANC standards.
• Foster a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Provide perioperative, PACU, or operating room care.
• Model proficiency through precepting and mentorship.
• Engage in evidence-based practice and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Hold a Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
• At least 1 year of experience in perioperative, PACU, or operating room care.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from recognized organizations.
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
