Registered Nurse – Outpatient – Procedural – Gynecology Urogynecology
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, onsite role at IU Health. The position involves assisting with in-office procedures, conducting independent nurse visits, performing urodynamic testing, managing telephone triage, and completing occasional prior authorizations. Nurses in this role contribute to improving patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Conduct independent nurse visits
- Perform urodynamic testing
- Manage telephone triage
- Complete occasional prior authorizations
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN) degree; BSN preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
- Knowledge of procedures for specific clinical areas and familiarity with designated equipment and supplies
- Able to coordinate multiple patient functions effectively and efficiently
- Understanding of legal implications related to patient care
Qualifications
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in a hands-on clinical environment
- Experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
- Knowledge of relevant procedures and equipment
- Effective communication and organizational skills

Pay
$40.00 - $45.00 hourly
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional late days as needed. No weekends or holidays!
