The registered nurse provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. They utilize critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to address patients' physical and psychosocial needs, respecting their autonomy and rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately and administer prescribed medications
• Deliver age-appropriate care and perform basic self-care activities
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical services
• Identify psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services for discharge planning
• Practice cost-effective resource utilization and promote patient safety
• Prioritize patient care efficiently and commit to lifelong learning

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Computer literacy
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS/PALS certifications
