Role Overview
This position involves providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to orthopedics, neuro, surgical, and trauma patients. The nurse will advocate for patient wellness, monitor conditions, communicate vital updates, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure seamless treatment and recovery. Additionally, the role includes managing discharge planning and empowering patients and families for the next stage of care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and exceptional nursing care following established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to the care team.
- Cookordination between physicians and specialists for integrated care.
- Manage discharge planning and patient education.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.
