Registered Nurse OR ASC
About the Role
As an RN in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The role involves managing the full patient experience from preoperative preparation through recovery and discharge, working alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary team to prepare patients for discharge home or transition to inpatient care.
Surgical specialties served include:
- Ophthalmology
- Gynecology
- Otolaryngology (ENT)
The Operating Room at Sinai Hospital is known for excellent clinical care, bedside and laboratory research, surgical education, academic collaboration, advanced technology, minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based care, and compassionate service.
This position offers a potential sign-on bonus of up to $6,000.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of RN OR experience required
- Ophthalmology experience preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
- Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Registered Nursing license, or Compact State licensure
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certification
Pay
Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 per hour, based on experience.
