Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Full-Time, Days)

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists in perioperative care in the Operating Room, working alongside surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and recovery staff.
• Participates in training on equipment, patient positioning, and documentation.
• Opportunity exists for cross-training or advancing to scrub or First Assist roles.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ASN, Diploma, BSN).
• Current RN license and ability to maintain licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS as required.
• Preferred: 1 year of RN or OR experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform necessary movements.
