About the role

Perioperative Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations during the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the surgical environment for safety
• Advocating for patients
• Assisting surgical teams
• Supervising staff orientation and education
• Ensuring availability of supplies and equipment to support care delivery

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing school (BSN preferred)
• Licensed as an RN in Illinois
• CPR/BLS certified
• At least 2 years of perioperative RN experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
